TA7005C Corrugated graphite tape is cut from pure graphite roll by exact lathe, and then press it with corrugated profile by special calender,
TA7005CS is corrugated graphite tape with self-adhesive coating. Both of TA7005 and TA7005CS with corrosion inhibitor, are also available on request.
Application:
Designed for use as packing, just with wrapping tape to stem or shaft, and then stuffing, endless packing can be formed. It is easily installed for small diameter valves, and can also be used for emergencies when spare packing are not available. It can handle not water, high temperature and pressure steam, heat transfer fluid, hydrogen gas, ammonia, organic solvents and so on.
Temperature: -240~500oC under oxidizing environment
-240~3500oC under non-oxidizing environment
